First thing I’ll address: I have curves of every kind so you won’t ever be seeing me with a pair of wings on a runway. Second: I’m a burlesque performer so don’t think of the Christina Aguilera movie- it’s more so Christina in the “Lady Marmalade” music video lmao. Regardless, I did this session because I wanted to capture who I am, what I look like, and what I’m representing at this moment in time. I couldn’t be happier with my decision, ladies. When you walk in the studio, MeganNikki, and Jaime are there with a warm welcome! Nikki and Jamie immediately get to work on your face and hair; I felt like a Disney Princess y’all, no joke! And the atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting you don’t notice you’re done in a snap (and then you take a million selfies because you love your makeup and hair THAT MUCH. Once that’s complete it’s you and Megan. You go through all the outfit pieces you’ve brought and you figure out what will look the best as well as matching your personality. The thing that worried me the most what knowing how to pose, but Megan is a pro! She’ll tell you how to position your body to get all the best angles- and ladies, she is a total CHEERLEADER! She is overflowing with positivity and encouragement the whole session- the chemistry was AMAZING; being able to laugh the whole time and shoot is incredibly important to have between a photographer and a model. I was finally able to have my viewing appointment yesterday and y’all, I’m purchasing all 112 of my shots. You read that right. 1-1-2! I loved every single one of these images and my jaw hit the floor. Megan was able to capture ALL sides of me and I’m just blown away. If you ladies haven’t had the chance to book: DO. IT. NOW.
