What an absolutely amazing experience this boudoir photoshoot was. I was EXTREMELY nervous over the thought of getting pictures of myself taken in lingerie. After some thought, I decided to put my insecurities and vulnerability aside and take the leap. And I’m so freaking happy I did! Megan, you are incredible. You helped ease all of my fears, doubts and insecurities the moment I got there. You guided me the entire time, made me feel beautiful and made me laugh so much. This shoot was more for me than just some pictures being taken. I didn’t do it for anyone else, I did it for myself. I’ve lost a lot of weight since last year and battled a whole bunch of health issues. I did this shoot as a reward to myself, so that when those insecurities come creeping in I can look back on these pictures to remind myself of the things I’ve overcome and continue to overcome. If there’s any opportunity I think someone should take, its this one. No matter what insecurities you battle or self doubts you have, do me one favor.. Put aside the twisted picture the world has painted of what the idealistic, perfect body should look like. You are beautiful and uniquely perfect just the way you are. So I challenge you to take the leap! I promise you will not regret it one bit. Megan is absolutely phenomenal and I know after you leave this photoshoot you will gain a new sense of self love, confidence and empowerment! Thank you Megan! First thing I’ll address: I have curves of every kind so you won’t ever be seeing me with a pair of wings on a runway. Second: I’m a burlesque performer so don’t think of the Christina Aguilera movie- it’s more so Christina in the “Lady Marmalade” music video lmao. Regardless, I did this session because I wanted to capture who I am, what I look like, and what I’m representing at this moment in time. I couldn’t be happier with my decision, ladies. When you walk in the studio, Megan, Nikki, and Jaime are there with a warm welcome! Nikki and Jamie immediately get to work on your face and hair; I felt like a Disney Princess y’all, no joke! And the atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting you don’t notice you’re done in a snap (and then you take a million selfies because you love your makeup and hair THAT MUCH. Once that’s complete it’s you and Megan. You go through all the outfit pieces you’ve brought and you figure out what will look the best as well as matching your personality. The thing that worried me the most what knowing how to pose, but Megan is a pro! She’ll tell you how to position your body to get all the best angles- and ladies, she is a total CHEERLEADER! She is overflowing with positivity and encouragement the whole session- the chemistry was AMAZING; being able to laugh the whole time and shoot is incredibly important to have between a photographer and a model. I was finally able to have my viewing appointment yesterday and y’all, I’m purchasing all 112 of my shots. You read that right. 1-1-2! I loved every single one of these images and my jaw hit the floor. Megan was able to capture ALL sides of me and I’m just blown away. If you ladies haven’t had the chance to book: DO. IT. NOW.

Holy cow, I just had my viewing session with Megan and I could not be more excited about the pictures!! I know everyone’s comment is always, “if you’re thinking about it, just do it.” But seriously, if you’re thinking about it, just do it!!

I initially booked my session as a wedding gift to my fiancé, but it really turned into so much more than that. I still can’t believe how comfortable and fantastic I felt before, during, and after the shoot.

I am super skeptical about basically everything and certainly not the most body-confident person, but I’m so so glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone for this. It really ended up being just as much a gift for me as for him. Annnnd I can’t believe I actually feel comfortable/confident enough to show these pictures to friends!!

I had my first Boudoir Photo Shoot last Friday! I decided to have photos done as a Wedding present for my soon to be husband. I can't stress you enough how this really kinda was also a present to myself also, an eye opening one for that. I've also been my worst critic and hard on myself ever since a young age. With past relationships, I was never good enough. I’ve been cheated on, used and put down for not being a size 0 or even not ever wearing enough makeup. Thank God those guys are the past, but it still was a huge weight on myself, always feeling never good enough, or pretty enough. With my session with Megan, I was terribly nervous at first. Excited that I was going out of my comfort zone but scared that I was just going to somehow not be pretty enough to do this. After having my hair and make up done, i looked in the mirror and couldn’t believe that was me! I kept looking in the mirror with disbelief. Being in front of Megan was very comfortable and boosted my confidence! She is remarkable with the job she does and makes sure you don't feel out out of place. She does an absolute wonderful job and most of all, after all is said and done, I feel better about me as a person. I'm so thrilled to have done this with Megan. No only for a present but also for me

I did a session with Megan at the end of July and WOW! Megan is amazing. She is so talented, professional and friendly. I was completely comfortable with her. I was a little nervous about doing the shoot because I'm not at my ideal weight and I hate having my picture taken. Megan asked if there was anything I was self conscious about beforehand and helped me choose outfits. The poses she chose were so flattering. I want to spam you with some of my pictures. It was hard to choose just a few to post because so many were amazing. For reference I am a street size 14 and XL in most things.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Megan since high school, we attended together as she was just beginning to pursue her passion of photography. Even at the very start of her career I could tell she possessed true talent and have loved continuing to work with her over the years. She has photographed me in many capacities, from modeling to boudoir to engagement and will be photographing my upcoming elopement as well. My boudoir shoot was definitely the most nerve-racking but Megan made me feel so comfortable. We had so much fun that before I knew it the session was over! If you've been considering doing a boudoir photography session but are too nervous or shy there is absolutely no reason to be with Megan. I ended up purchasing two large prints because I was so impressed and happy with the outcome. I can't say enough great things and Megan's professionalism and the quality of her work. I urge you to give Megan a chance in photographing the next special occasion in your life. You will not be disappointed in working with her!

Over the past year I have had Megan photograph 5 shoots for me, 4 boudoir and 1 four-legged baby shoot and honestly I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with them. I am absolutely blown away and in love with all my pictures and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to photograph them. Over the last 4 years I’ve been learning to accept my changing body, going from a size 2, 32 A to at size 6, 36 C. Before I did my first boudoir shoot I was nervous and wanted to loose weight but Megan was beyond professional and comfortable to work with and her personal hype girl Jaclyn made me feel completely confident with myself. Megan and Jaclyn both made all of my experiences so much fun. Megan was very accommodating to my wishes and things I wanted to try during my photoshoots. I have done private in home sessions and marathon sessions with Megan and am so glad I have had the chances to do these with her. Both myself and my boyfriend love the photos and little black books I have ordered from my shoots and can’t wait to do more with Megan in the years to come.

So I was really nervous before I did this photo shoot with Megan, I wanted to wait until I lost weight or looked "prettier" but I am so glad I just went for it and did it because it doesn't matter about any of that Megan makes everyone look and feel so beautiful!! I love looking through all of my photos all the time and I'm really proud of them. So don't be scared or nervous because it will be AMAZING. Megan's the best and it was so much fun. Can't wait to do it again one day.
