1. What made you choose Megan Antalek Boudoir?
I was newly engaged so my friend added me to Megan's facebook group. I honestly had NO intention of ever doing something like this but i kept seeing the awesome pictures pop up in my news feed so I finally decided it would make a great anniversary gift for my husband!

2. If you were nervous about your session ,what were you most nervous about?
I was a little nervous going into it. This type of thing is out of most peoples comfort zone i'm sure. But Megan quickly erased all of those nerves by her excitement and passion for doing what she does!

3. What was your favorite part of the entire experience?
Shooting the pictures themselves was the best part! Megan made me feel so comfortable. My hair and makeup gave me the confidence to pose for the pictures with ease. I would have done it way sooner if I had known i would feel THAT comfortable wearing basically nothing in front of a camera!

4. How do you feel now that you have completed your session ?
I feel GREAT! Things went way better than I ever imagined. I was worried my husband would catch on or know what I was up to (since I have two kids and a busy schedule I cant just be GONE for hours without a good excuse!) So i told him I was going to a bridal show with a friend and they did hair and makeup there and that's why I came home all done up! lol The pictures turned out AMAZING and I didn't think i'd want Megan to share them, but i'm so obsessed with them I told Megan to SHARE AWAY!

5/6. Was this session for you, or a present? do you feel it changed once you completed the session?Originally this was planned as a gift to my husband for our one year anniversary. I haven't given him the book yet but I know he will LOVE it. But maybe not as much as I do! I truly believe that it became more of a gift to myself because I now have these pictures that i'm obsessed with that I can look back on whenever I want. (i look at the proofs for the book quite often haha) It's hard to believe they are even me!

7. if you had to give advice to women who are on the fence about doing a boudoir session what would you say? do you think your self confidence has changed?
I already have been convincing my friends to do a shoot! A lot of my friends are getting engaged or newly married and it is probably one of the best gifts you can give! your husband doesn't need another lame jersey or sporting events tickets! he'd appreciate this so much more :) My confidence definitely went up after I saw all of the photos! I loved them all but narrowed it down to a perfect book sized gift. Megan is the best and so easy going you will not be anything but happy with your session and photos!
